"Extinct Childhood"
Through this sculpture, I want the viewer to reflect on the urgent need to preserve ecosystems, ensuring that future generations can experience the timeless magic of catching fireflies so that the unspoiled wonders of childhood will never be labeled as extinct. The piece was modeled after my own hands from a photo of me as a child catching fireflies in my backyard.
